Mary Blevins of Vectair Systems, Inc., has been awarded the prestigious Tom Valentino Achievement Award for 2019 after showing outstanding commitment to the Company during the year (and many others!).
The announcement was made at Vectair’s Cocktail Party, during ISSA Las Vegas on Wednesday November 20th held at the exclusive SkyBar @ Waldorf Astoria, Las Vegas. She collected her award in front of many customers and co-workers and Mary Blevins was presented the award at the Cocktail Party by Paul Wonnacott, President of Vectair Systems, Inc., and she is pictured with the award with Vectair Systems, Inc., Executive Vice President, Chad Davis.
Paul Wonnacott, presenting the award to Mary at the Company’s Cocktail party in Las Vegas, said”
“Tom Valentino was instrumental to the early success of our US business and was liked by all that met him. In his memory, The Tom Valentino Achievement Award was set up to recognize individuals who reflect the spirit that Tom showed through his life and through his battle with lung cancer. Mary Blevins has been with the Company since the early days and she was very close to Tom. I can think of nobody else who is more deserving of this award than Mary as she consistently goes above and beyond what is asked of her and I’m very proud to present this prestigious award to her.”
The Thomas W. Valentino Achievement Award is presented each year to an individual (this could be a rep or a staff member) who has shown an outstanding contribution and positive impact to Vectair Systems, Inc., over the last year.
The award was set up in honor of the late Tom Valentino, who served as Vectair’s North American Vice President of Sales and Marketing until his tragic death in September 2014. Tom died at the age of 51 following an 18-month battle against lung cancer, in the company of his wife Kristie, his twin daughters Lauren and Lindsey and his close family.
All of the Vectair Systems global family would like to congratulate Mary on her outstanding achievement, not just in 2019, but ever since she joined the business.
