Vectair Systems have announced that their North American business, Vectair Systems, Inc. have become members of the USGBC (U.S. Green Building Council). This is in keeping with their commitment to the environment and a sustainable way of living. The USGBC are ‘committed to a sustainable, prosperous future through LEED, the leading program for green buildings and communities worldwide’.
Vectair Systems are now listed on the online directory under membership number 3980464355041034. The USGBC’s program, LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) focuses on green buildings. It is one of, if not the most, widely used green building rating system in the world. Available for most building, community and home projects, LEED provides a framework to create healthy, sustainable & cost-saving buildings that are green and cost efficient. LEED buildings help to save energy, water, and generate less waste while supporting human health.
Over the years, Vectair Systems have put a lot of money, effort and research into creating environmentally friendly products that help provide a more sustainable World. These all meet the Quality Assurance Standard for Carbon Offsetting following a footprint calculation and BSI’s PAS 2060 specification on carbon neutrality.
