User-friendliness in the washrooms was top priority at Vienna International Airport. The previous feminine hygiene bins had been in place within the airport for a long time and they were not visually appealing anymore.
Hygiene in this area is also a major priority and the previous bins could only be opened manually by hand which was also a reason they were looking to switch to a different and more innovative feminine sanitary bin. A third point was the cost of the system as we wanted the system to be cost-effective for Vienna International Airport.
